Bagan move up in the League table

Mohun Bagan win against Pailan Arrows and secure 3 points, that helped the team to move up to the 10th spot in iLague. Odafa and Jacobs scored for Bagan. One must remember that Bagan lost 12 points they earned before 9th December 2012 when Vishnu Chouhan’s nasty moves created security issues and Bagan officials decided to withdraw the team for the sake of thousand lives. One can investigate what Chouhan did 24 hours before the game that day and understand his intentions!

Eche missed, Nandy completes his journey

Sandip Nandy completes the journey – he gave Bagan National League 15 years back – and got the iLeague for CB stopping Bagan today. He stopped Odafa from scoring for at least 4 occasions that helped Churchill Brothers win iLeague this season as they win against Bagan by 2-0. Eche’s service was felt today as Bagan defense was having a pathetic show in his absence. Both the goals were conceded in the 1st half and both were due to mistakes committed by Bagan defense.

Mohun Bagan 3-2 Air India

Bagan beat Air India by 3-2 in a I League match at Kalyani today.Odafa, Tolgey and Denson Devdas scored for Bagan. While Henry and Branco scored for Air India. Bagan is now with 22 points in their bag, staying at safe zone so far from relegation. All credit goes to Karim Bencharifa and his boys, that they overcome all the tough situation and hurdles in a grand style. Bagan will play against Churchill Brothers at Kalyani Stadium on next Sunday, 21st April.

3 more points secured

Mohun Bagan secured 3 more points as the Green and Maroon brigade get past Mumbai FC by 3-2. Outstanding goals by Tolgay(1) and Odafa(2) were almost overshadowed by silly mistakes from Biswajit Saha and Shilton Pal. One must feel pity for coach Karim that he is forced to continue with Saha and Shilton match after match!
