The video of this game should be showed in the football academies for

1. How free kicks are converted

2. How refereeing can be ridiculous

3. How  a technically poor goalie’s inclusion in a squad can lead to humiliation.

KEB got an early lead when Judelin unnecessarily committed a foul and DuDong knew Shilton is weak in (a) positioning himself (b) how weak he is on left

DuDong made no mistake and KEB was up 1-0 in 2nd min. That was followed by series of miss passes by Bagan players and series of wasted opportunities.

DuDong increased the lead in 38th min from a disputed free kick and  a similar shot (2-0).

Referee started favouring  KEB as  he gave a series of free kicks.

Not only that he gave Dudu marching order for  a play acting by Khabra in the second half.

Rafiq increased margin as Shilton was caught wrong foot (3-0)

Safar had a goal line save or else the score board could have been 4-0 in regular time.

The 4th goal came from  corner in 94th min as Rahul header kept Shilton away.

MB 4-1 Police AC

Mohun Bagan secured three points as they thrashed Police AC by 4-1. However Bagan conceded an early goal as Shilton was in a wrong position during a free kick and hence was not at all in a position to save the shot. Dudu scored the third and Lewis nailed in by scoring a fourth.

Lewis was selected as MOM
