Mohun Bagan got past North East United FC to ensure they bag 3 necessary points as they win by 2-0. The first goal was scored by Roy Krishna who was as quick as a flash in the 50th minute and his header got past the goalie.
In the 57th minute in order to clear a ball from Sandesh , Lambot hit the ball towards his own goal that hit Suhair’s leg and kissed the net.
What is more important is, Bagan players were found putting in a strategy of off the ball movement and quick grounders. Things did not click very well, however if the players continue to do so, this will be fruitful in two or three games.
However controversy took.place when 5 Bagan boys were booked, and at least 2 of these 5 were not even foul, whereas referee did not even warn a Highlander for a foul on Krishna that should have got the NE player marching order.
