Mohun Bagan went down to Ahal FK by 0-1 as Enwer scored at 83rd minute. He got into the box from left- and before Tom and Apuia could stop him , his power shot towards far post had beaten Vishal and kissed the net.

Bagan failed to score for at least 4 occasions – as Sahal, Jamie, Jason missed opportunities. An Alberto shot missed target as well.

Tom got booked at the dying moments of the first half that made him shaky in the second half. Liston and Jason double marking also worked well for Ahal. 

Bagan definitely missed a ball distributor. While Ahal played on short passes, Bagan players, in both the wings failed to get past them as the long passes were quickly intercepted. It was Deepak Tangri who was doing well as defensive blocker – but he got injured at the first half and was later replaced by Thapa. Robson replaced Liston, Jamie came in for Kiyan and Bose replaced Abhishek later.

Bose was found struggling as Ahal players had beaten him for four occasions – and at least one of them would have been a goal, had Thapa not cleared it. Sahal was impressive but his misses in the final third became costly.
