The AIFF has announced the two groups of Federation Cup this year. The 10 teams of iLeague will be participating for the same.

This is as follows –

Matches of Mohun Bagan –

December 30, 2014: vs Bengaluru FC

January 1, 2015: vs Pune FC

January 3, 2015: vs Salgaocar SC

January 5, 2015:  vs Shillong Lajong FC

Mohun Bagan got past Southern  Samity by a margin of 3-1. This will ensure Bagan will return the runner up of Premier League title for the 5th consecutive season.  Also,a goal from Balwant and two from Boya ensures the highest scorer award does not reach the Green and Maroon tent this year.

A hattrick by Balwant and an assist from him ensures Bagan win 4-2 against Army XI. However this would not have been possible had Debjit not saved Bagan from four occasions where Army could have scored. Mohun Bagan , currently second in the table, can still win the league if they win the last game and Tollygaunge and East Bengal share points.

Subhash Bhowmick’s side at yuva bharati Krirangan had got off to an impressive start, with Balwant creating some panic in Army box. Yusa assisted him well. It was on one such situation where a yusa shot was handled by an Army man and Bagan got a penalty. Balwant did not make any mistake in converting the same.

Bagan tool a two goals lead when Balwant scored from a header. However this advantagr was short lived as army scored two goals in quick successions – and Bagan defense was to be blamed for the same.

In the second half Bhowmick had two changes- first Boya replaced Fatai and then Pratik replaced Adarsh. Soon Balwant scored his third from a header. Balwant then assisted Boya in scoring the 4th goal of the game.

Debjit did well in stopping Army from scoring any goal in the second half.

Bagan needs to ensure the win the last game against Southern Samity. That will help Bagan secure 24 points to end the league.

Mohun Bagan manages to get past BNR by 2-1. Balwant and Boya scored for Bagan – one in each half. In two occasions penalty was not given for Bagan, while referee had to give one in the second half that was converted by Boya.

Mohun Bagan played well and earned full three points against Aryans. Though a goal was cancelled in the 3rd minute, Bagan kept pressure on Aryans – and Boya scored the loan goal of the match. Yusa played well but was booked and will miss the game against BNR
