Mohun Bagan shared points with Air India. A 64 minute strike from Odafa Okolie saved Mohun Bagan from the humiliation – but Bagan is now 8 points behind Dempo! However, Bagan definitely missed service of its two genuine side halves – Lima and Jewel – and costly mistakes from defense helped Manandeep Singh score two goal against Bagan.

Bagan started well – and Manish Maithani scored in the 20th minute with Odafa’s assistance and by lobbing the ball from outside the box. But  Manandeep scored a good goal in the 21st minute. The goal scored by Manandeepraises eye brows against the flexibility and judgement of Shilton who was donning the Bagan jersey after long time in the iLeague.

In the 39th minute Manandeep scored his second.

Bagan’s next match is against Dempo – and both Lima and Jewel are expected to be back in the team. Bagan will play the remaining matches in YBK.

McDowell Mohun Bagan defeated Techno Aryan by a massive score line of 6-0 today at YBK in a Sahara CFL match. Odafa Okolie alone scored 4 goals in the first half, while Rahim Nabi and Manish Maithani scored a goal each. Mohun Bagan is now well in the run to get Sahara CFL title with other local outfits. Mariners will play the last match against Prayag United. But the date of the match is yet to be declared by IFA.

Odafa scroed the goal in 14th, 17th, 30th, 44th minute. Nabi scored the goal in 66th minute and Manish Maithani scored in the 90+2nd minute.

Bagan is now with 20 points from 9 matches. They will their last match against Prayag United.

Mohun Bagan played a practice match against Chirag United Kerala this morning. Bagan won the game by 2-1. Manish Maithani and Jagtar Singh scored for Bagan. Bagan was leading by 1-0 at the end of the first half.
